I AM ME, BECAUSE WE ARE US!
I AM ME Philly is building a new community-centered initiative dedicated to creating spaces where LGBTQIA+ people and allies can connect, create, learn, heal, and grow together.
Rooted in the mission of I AM ME Inc., our Philadelphia chapter will bring people together through wellness, community building, education, art, culture, and performance.
OUR MISSION
We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to be seen, be heard, and be celebrated.
I AM ME Philly is being created to strengthen LGBTQIA+ community connections throughout Philadelphia while developing opportunities that support personal wellness, creative expression, education, and authentic community.
Our goal is SIMPLE! Create spaces where people feel supported, inspired, connected, and empowered to be themselves.
WHAT WE ARE BUILDING
Our future work will be centered around five areas:
WELLNESS
Supporting spaces and experiences that encourage emotional, social, and personal well-being.
COMMUNITY
Creating opportunities for LGBTQIA+ people, allies, organizations, creatives, and community leaders to connect.
EDUCATION
Sharing knowledge, resources, conversations, and experiences that strengthen and empower our community.
ART
Providing opportunities for artists and creators to express themselves, tell their stories, and showcase their work.
PERFORMANCE
Creating platforms where music, entertainment, storytelling, and live performance can bring people together.
HELP US BUILD I AM ME PHILLY
We are currently building a Philadelphia Community Committee of individuals who believe in this mission and want to help shape what I AM ME Philly can become.
We are looking for community members, creatives, educators, wellness professionals, advocates, business leaders, performers, organizers, and allies who are ready to bring their ideas, experience, and energy to the table.
